MZ Biolabs provides unequaled analytical and testing services for the research and development community. We excel at mass spectrometry-based method development for drugs, metabolites and diagnostic markers. Mass spectrometry allows us to perform testing on very small sample sizes, ideal for small or hard-to-acquire samples. Our knowledgeable staff can help with planning the experiments and analytical assays for your projects and provide feedback during the testing period.
Method Development
We develop methods for a variety of compounds including small molecules and their metabolites, new chemical entities, drug monitoring, peptides, and other compounds unavailable on diagnostic menus. We work on most sample formats from tissue culture and animal samples through to human studies. Methods can be validated for research purposes or under GLP conditions.

Range of Services
We can develop new mass spec methods for your project or provide testing from our menu. We work on most sample formats from tissue culture, and animal samples through to human studies. We can develop and validate testing to establish new diagnostic tests.
Collaborations
We are pleased to collaborate on R&D projects for discovery, new diagnostics, companion diagnostic development, or translational development, including partnering on grants or SBIR/STTR applications. For SBIR/STTR grants our interest is in new testing, including companion diagnostics, that can be offered to the medical and/or veterinary markets.
Animal Studies Support
We support analytical testing for drugs (established or NCEs) and their metabolites, drug monitoring, and metabolic markers. Mass spectrometry analysis allows us to use small sample volumes and retain accuracy for animal studies with sensitivity down to low pg/ml for many analytes. We can provide pharmacokinetic and other analyses of the data.
